After years of disharmony and acrimony for each other East and West Germany, erstwhile arch enemies today stand tough as a united Germany.
It took time, blood, sacrifices, compromises and lots of patience- prolonged years, but eventually in 1990, peace, equanimity and brotherhood prevailed.
And, those who think that India and Pakistan share a much hostile relation, they are mistaken largely.
West and East Germany shared a really bad bond piqued by emotions of mistrust and disdain, which at certain times worsened to much poorer terms than that of the present day India and Pakistan.
Ergo, could India and Pakistan unite again? Not now. Not in the near future. But, eventually the possibility can not be denied that one day fraternity and mutual brotherhood may unite the two belligerent counterparts.
